There are places that change the pace of a journey the moment you arrive. The Red Sea is one of them.

We dropped anchor as the light softened, the desert hills turning from gold to rose to deep blue. Dinner was served on deck, the crew moving quietly between courses, and slowly the conversation gave way to the silence that only open water can offer.

By night, the sky was unrecognisable, thick with stars, the kind you forget exist. We stayed up late, talking and not talking, the only sound the water against the hulls.
